Description
Inappropriate implementation in USB in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.216 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome in the USB component, prior to version 148.0.7778.216. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting a specific HTML page. The issue stems from an inappropriate implementation in the handling of USB within the browser.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.216 or later to address this vulnerability.
