Description
Heap buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.216 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome on Windows, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.216. This vulnerability allowed a remote attacker, who had compromised the renderer process, to potentially escape the sandbox by exploiting a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.216 or later to address this vulnerability.
