Description
Out of bounds read in GPU in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.216 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability allowing an out of bounds read in the GPU component of Google Chrome has been identified. This issue affects versions prior to 148.0.7778.216. The vulnerability could potentially allow a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to perform a sandbox escape by using a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.216 or later to address this vulnerability.
