Description
Fortra BoKS Manager contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the client upgrade and patch tooling for legacy tar-based client installations. A malicious or compromised legacy tar-installed client selected for upgrade or patching may be able to cause commands to be executed on the BoKS Master during client version handling.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in Fortra BoKS Manager, specifically within the client upgrade and patching tools for older tar-based client installations. This vulnerability allows a malicious or compromised client, chosen for an upgrade or patch, to execute arbitrary commands on the BoKS Master server during the client version update process.
