Description
An authenticated user with the read role may read limited amounts of uninitialized stack memory via specially-crafted issuances of the filemd5 command
A vulnerability exists in MongoDB that allows an authenticated user with the read role to access limited amounts of uninitialized stack memory. This is achieved through carefully crafted use of the filemd5 command.
Users can upgrade to MongoDB versions 9.0.0-rc0, 8.3.0-rc4, or 8.2.10 to address this vulnerability.
