CVE-2026-97316 Details
Description
The Broken Link Notifier WordPress plugin before 2.0.0.1 does not re-validate the destination of redirects when checking links, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass its internal-address filter and make the server send requests to internal services.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Broken Link Notifier WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.0.0.1. The vulnerability arises because the plugin fails to re-validate the destination of redirects when checking links. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass the plugin's internal-address filter and make the server send requests to internal services.
Users are advised to update the Broken Link Notifier WordPress plugin to version 2.0.0.1 or later.
