CVE-2026-94504 Details
Description
Ninja Forms 3.15.3 stores an anonymous non-RTE textarea value and renders it without safe HTML encoding in the legacy submission editor. An attacker can break out of the textarea with stored script. When an Administrator opens the attacker-known direct submission URL, the script runs in the WordPress admin origin.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Ninja Forms WordPress plugin, specifically in version 3.15.3. The issue arises because the plugin stores an anonymous non-rich text editor textarea value and renders it without proper HTML encoding in the legacy submission editor. This allows an attacker to inject a script that escapes the textarea's confines. When an administrator accesses the submission through a direct URL, the injected script executes within the WordPress admin environment.
Users are advised to update Ninja Forms to version 3.15.4 or a newer patched version.
