Description
Mistral Vibe before 2.25.5 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the worktree creation process that executes git hooks before trust validation. Attackers can supply a repository with a crafted post-checkout hook that executes arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the user running Vibe.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Mistral Vibe versions through 2.25.4. The issue arises during the creation of Git worktrees, where Git hooks are executed before trust validation. This allows attackers to supply a repository with a malicious post-checkout hook that runs arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the user executing Vibe.
Users can update to Mistral Vibe version 2.25.5 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
