Description
A vulnerability was found in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. This affects the function formSchedule of the file /boafrm/formSchedule. Performing a manipulation of the argument webpage results in buffer overflow. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the TOTOLINK A3002MU router, specifically in the firmware version Hh-B20211125.1046. The issue arises in the web server's formSchedule interface, where the webpage parameter is not properly validated. This lack of validation allows remote attackers to send crafted HTTP requests that overflow a fixed-size buffer, potentially overwriting adjacent memory. The vulnerability has been publicly disclosed and could be exploited remotely, leading to a denial-of-service condition by crashing the web service.
