Description
The Premium Packages WordPress plugin before 7.2.1 does not verify PayPal's webhook signature before processing payment and subscription notifications, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge payment confirmations and subscription-cancellation events against any order whose transaction id they know.
A vulnerability exists in the Premium Packages WordPress plugin in versions prior to 7.2.1, where the plugin fails to verify PayPal's webhook signature before processing payment and subscription notifications. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to forge payment confirmations and subscription cancellation events for any order, provided they know the transaction ID.
Users are advised to update the Premium Packages WordPress plugin to version 7.2.1 or later.
