Description
The Points and Rewards for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.10.4 does not validate the claimed reward amount or restrict who can call its Win Wheel claim handler, allowing authenticated users, Subscriber and above, to credit their own account with an arbitrary and unlimited amount of loyalty points and, where a companion wallet Points and Rewards for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.10.4 is active, wallet balance.
A vulnerability exists in the Points and Rewards for WooCommerce WordPress plugin in versions prior to 2.10.4. The plugin fails to validate the claimed reward amount and does not restrict access to its Win Wheel claim handler. This allows authenticated users with Subscriber status and above to arbitrarily increase their loyalty points balance. If the companion wallet plugin is active, this manipulation extends to the wallet balance as well.
Users are advised to update the Points and Rewards for WooCommerce WordPress plugin to version 2.10.4 or later.
