Description
Cross-Site Scripting via Script Validation Bypass exists in baserCMS. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary script may be executed in the user's web browser may be caused.
A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in baserCMS versions 5.0.0 through 5.4.0. This issue arises from a bypass of script validation, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the web browser of a user viewing the affected site.
Users are advised to update baserCMS to version 5.4.1 or 5.3.1 or later.
