Description
A missing authentication for critical function vulnerability exists in baserCMS. If this vulnerability is exploited, a remote attacker may obtain sensitive information.
A vulnerability exists in baserCMS versions 5.0.0 prior to 5.4.0, allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive information through the public blog comments API. This vulnerability arises from missing authentication for critical functions, which could lead to unauthorized disclosure of unapproved blog comments and commenter email addresses.
Users are advised to update baserCMS to version 5.4.1 or 5.3.1 or later.
