Description
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability via appended strings in email form fields exists in baserCMS. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary script may be executed in the user's web browser.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in baserCMS versions 5.0.0 through 5.4.0. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the web browsers of users viewing the affected site. The vulnerability arises from unescaped strings in email form fields, which can be exploited to inject malicious scripts.
Users are advised to update baserCMS to version 5.4.1 or 5.3.1 or later.
