CVE-2026-92920 Details
Description
admin3 through 3.0.0 fails to invalidate existing sessions when disabling a user account, allowing attackers to retain authenticated access with original permissions. Attackers can continue using bearer tokens issued before account disablement to authenticate requests, as the AuthInterceptor never re-validates the user's locked status and session expiry resets on each request.
A vulnerability exists in admin3 versions through 3.0.0, where the application fails to invalidate user sessions upon account deactivation. This oversight allows users to maintain authenticated access with their original permissions. Even after an account is disabled, bearer tokens issued prior to the deactivation can still be used to authenticate requests. The AuthInterceptor does not re-check the user's locked status, and session expiration is reset with each request, creating a window for potential misuse.
