Description
Docs before 5.4.1 fails to properly revoke websocket collaboration connections when access is revoked at parent documents. Attackers with revoked access can retain real-time read and write access to sub-documents through open websocket sessions that are never disconnected.
A vulnerability exists in La Suite Docs versions prior to 5.4.1, where WebSocket collaboration connections are not properly terminated when access is revoked at the parent document level. This oversight allows users with revoked access to maintain real-time read and write capabilities on sub-documents through active WebSocket sessions, which remain connected and functional. The issue arises because the access revocation process does not cascade down to child documents, leaving open collaboration sessions that can be exploited.
Update to La Suite Docs version 5.4.1 or later, where this issue has been fixed.
