CVE-2026-92773 Details
Description
Trigger.dev before 4.6.0 fails to verify that an authenticated user controls a GitHub App installation before binding it to their organization. Attackers can claim another user's GitHub App installation by replaying state cookies and supplying sequential installation identifiers, gaining unauthorized access to the victim's repositories.
A vulnerability exists in Trigger.dev versions prior to 4.6.0, allowing authenticated users to take over GitHub App installations by linking them to their organization without proper verification of ownership. This is achieved by replaying state cookies and using sequential installation identifiers, which grants unauthorized access to the victim's repositories through the app's permissions.
Users can update to Trigger.dev version 4.6.0 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
