CVE-2026-92435 Details
Description
The Mailchimp for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 6.1.1 does not verify that the requesting user holds the required capability in the permission callback for several of its REST API routes, allowing unauthenticated users to reach administrator-oriented endpoints and trigger a persistent state change.
A broken access control vulnerability has been identified in the Mailchimp for WooCommerce WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 6.1.1. The vulnerability arises because the plugin's REST API routes do not properly verify if the requesting user has the necessary capabilities. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to access administrator-level endpoints and make persistent changes.
Users are advised to update the Mailchimp for WooCommerce WordPress plugin to version 6.1.1 or later.
