CVE-2026-92298 Details
Description
EspoCRM through 10.0.8 uses PHP's rand() function to generate tokens for lead-capture opt-in, event invitation, and campaign URLs instead of a cryptographically secure generator. Remote unauthenticated attackers can guess these roughly 31-bit tokens to confirm opt-ins, accept or decline event invitations on behalf of other contacts, and access event details.
A vulnerability exists in EspoCRM versions prior to 10.0.8, where the application uses PHP's rand() function to generate tokens for lead-capture opt-in, event invitations, and campaign URLs. This method of token generation is not cryptographically secure, allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to guess these tokens, which have approximately 31 bits of entropy. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized confirmation of opt-ins, acceptance or decline of event invitations on behalf of other contacts, and access to event details.
Users can update to EspoCRM version 10.0.8 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
