Description
A vulnerability was determined in a2ui-project a2ui up to 0.10.6. This affects the function processMessages of the file renderers/web_core/src/v0_9/processing/message-processor.ts of the component Message Parsing. This manipulation causes dynamically-determined object attributes. The attack can be initiated remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A vulnerability exists in the A2UI project, specifically in the Message Parsing component, versions through 0.10.6. The issue arises in the 'processMessages' function within 'renderers/web_core/src/v0_9/processing/message-processor.ts'. This vulnerability allows for the introduction of dynamically-determined object attributes, which can be exploited remotely. The problem was reported to the project, but no response has been received yet.
It is recommended to implement validation for the message envelope against the v0.9 schema upon receipt and to reject or strictly validate component types that are not included in the configured catalogs.
