CVE-2026-91832 Details
Description
The WP Mobile Menu WordPress plugin before 2.9 does not correctly verify the nonce on its settings import, so an attacker can import arbitrary WP Mobile Menu WordPress plugin before 2.9 settings through a cross-site request in an administrator's session, and the imported values are then output unescaped to every visitor, resulting in Stored Cross-Site Scripting.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WP Mobile Menu WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.9. The issue arises because the plugin does not properly validate the nonce during settings imports. This flaw allows an attacker to import arbitrary settings into an administrator's session through a cross-site request. The imported settings are then displayed unescaped to all visitors, creating a stored cross-site scripting risk.
Users are advised to update the WP Mobile Menu WordPress plugin to version 2.9 or later.
