Description
LimeSurvey fails to safely encode attacker-controlled content from a crafted .lss survey file when displaying import warnings, resulting in XSS in the administrative interface.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in LimeSurvey. This issue arises because the application does not properly encode user-controlled content from certain survey files when displaying import warnings. As a result, malicious scripts can be injected and executed within the administrative interface. The vulnerability affects all versions of LimeSurvey that are currently available.
Users should update to the latest version of LimeSurvey, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
