Description
OS Command Injection vulnerability in Rapid7 InsightConnect Sed Plugin on Linux allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via the expression parameter due to insufficient input validation.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Rapid7 InsightConnect Sed Plugin for Linux. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands by exploiting the expression parameter, due to inadequate input validation.
Users can update to Sed Plugin version 2.0.6, which addresses this vulnerability by resolving the input validation issue that allowed for OS command injection.
