Description
Arbitrary File Read vulnerability in Rapid7 InsightConnect Sed Plugin on Linux allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files via the expression parameter due to insufficient input validation.
An arbitrary file read vulnerability exists in the Rapid7 InsightConnect Sed Plugin for Linux. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to read any file on the system by exploiting the expression parameter, due to inadequate input validation.
Users can update to Sed Plugin version 2.0.6, which addresses this vulnerability by improving input validation. The updated version is available through the Rapid7 Extension Library.
