Description
The Robokassa payment gateway for Woocommerce WordPress plugin before 1.8.9 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications when its non-default deferred-payment feature is enabled, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a notification and mark arbitrary WooCommerce orders as paid or on-hold without payment or a valid signature.
A vulnerability exists in the Robokassa payment gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin in versions prior to 1.8.9. When the deferred-payment feature is enabled, the plugin fails to verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to forge notifications and manipulate WooCommerce order statuses, marking them as paid or on-hold without a valid payment or signature.
Users are advised to update the Robokassa payment gateway for WooCommerce WordPress plugin to version 1.8.9 or later.
