Description
The Generate PDF using Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before 4.2.2 does not restrict the destination of the image fetch its PDF renderer performs on submitted form content, allowing unauthenticated users to make the server request internal resources and read the response back through the generated PDF.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Generate PDF using Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 4.2.2. The vulnerability arises because the plugin's PDF renderer does not properly restrict the destination of image fetches from submitted form content. This flaw allows unauthenticated users to make server requests for internal resources and retrieve the responses through the generated PDF.
Users are advised to update the Generate PDF using Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin to version 4.2.2 or later.
