Description
Casdoor through 4.4.0 fails to properly mask the instance-wide built-in certificate private key in /api/get-certs and /api/get-cert endpoints, allowing organization administrators to retrieve it. Attackers can use the exposed private key to forge JWT tokens for any user in any organization, including global administrators.
A vulnerability in Casdoor versions through 4.4.0 allows organization administrators to access the unmasked private key of the instance-wide built-in certificate through the '/api/get-certs' and '/api/get-cert' endpoints. This exposure enables the forging of JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for any user across organizations, including global administrators. The root cause lies in inadequate masking of private keys for organization admins, who can inadvertently retrieve sensitive cryptographic material that facilitates cross-tenant token forgery.
