Description
EspoCRM before 10.0.4 contains a field-level security bypass vulnerability in the meeting and call attendees endpoints that allows authenticated users to read restricted email addresses. Attackers can recover hidden attendee emails by exploiting incorrect ACL scope validation that checks parent event permissions instead of attendee entity permissions.
A field-level security bypass vulnerability has been identified in EspoCRM versions prior to 10.0.4. This vulnerability exists in the meeting and call attendees endpoints, allowing authenticated users to access restricted email addresses of attendees. The issue arises from improper validation of Access Control List (ACL) scopes, which incorrectly reference parent event permissions instead of those specific to the attendee entities. As a result, users can retrieve hidden email addresses from attendee records they should not have access to.
Users can upgrade to EspoCRM version 10.0.4 or later to address this vulnerability.
