Description
The Paid Membership Subscriptions WordPress plugin before 3.0.9 does not verify that the amount and currency reported by the payment provider match the pending payment before completing it, allowing unauthenticated users to obtain a paid membership by paying an arbitrary lower amount.
A vulnerability exists in the Paid Membership Subscriptions WordPress plugin in versions prior to 3.0.9. The issue arises because the plugin fails to verify that the amount and currency reported by the payment provider align with the pending payment before finalizing it. This oversight enables unauthenticated users to acquire a paid membership by submitting a lower payment amount of their choice.
