Description
A vulnerability was found in D-Link DWR-M921 1.1.52. The impacted element is the function system of the file /boafrm/formDiskPartition. Performing a manipulation of the argument devicename results in command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the D-Link DWR-M921 router running firmware version 1.1.52. The issue arises in the web interface component responsible for disk partition management. By manipulating the 'devicename' parameter, it is possible to inject arbitrary commands into the 'umount' and 'parted' command executions. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, but requires authentication.
Users are advised to update to the latest firmware version that addresses this vulnerability. D-Link has not yet released a patch for this specific issue.
