Description
A vulnerability was detected in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. Impacted is the function formNewSchedule of the file /boafrm/formNewSchedule of the component boa. The manipulation of the argument submit-url results in buffer overflow. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the TOTOLINK A3002MU router, specifically in the web server component Boa. The issue arises in the 'formNewSchedule' function within the file '/boafrm/formNewSchedule'. The vulnerability is caused by improper validation of the 'submit-url' parameter, allowing remote attackers to send crafted HTTP requests that overflow a fixed-size buffer. This memory corruption can disrupt the normal operation of the router's web service, leading to a denial-of-service condition.
