Description
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox ESR 115.35, Firefox ESR 140.10 and Firefox 150. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 151, Firefox ESR 115.36, Firefox ESR 140.11, Thunderbird 151, and Thunderbird 140.11.
A vulnerability has been identified in Mozilla Firefox and Firefox ESR versions 115.35, 140.10, and 150, related to memory safety. Some of these memory safety issues showed signs of memory corruption, and it is presumed that, with sufficient effort, they could have been exploited to execute arbitrary code.
Users can upgrade to Firefox 151, Firefox ESR 115.36, or Firefox ESR 140.11 to address this vulnerability.
