Description
The FluentBoards WordPress plugin before 2.0.15 does not properly verify that a user holds board-manager privileges before performing several board-management operations, checking only board membership. This allows any member of a board to carry out manager-only actions on it, including adding or removing members and enabling public access to a private board.
A vulnerability exists in the FluentBoards WordPress plugin in versions prior to 2.0.15, where the plugin fails to adequately verify if a user has board-manager privileges before allowing certain board-management actions. The plugin only checks for board membership, enabling any board member to perform manager-exclusive tasks. These tasks include adding or removing members and changing the public access status of a private board.
Users are advised to update the FluentBoards WordPress plugin to version 2.0.15 or later.
