Description
The FluentBoards WordPress plugin before 2.0.15 does not verify that a board member submitting a comment is the user the comment is attributed to, allowing any board member to post comments that appear to be authored by another user, including administrators.
A vulnerability exists in the FluentBoards WordPress plugin in versions prior to 2.0.15. The issue arises because the plugin does not properly verify that a board member submitting a comment is the actual user the comment represents. This flaw allows any board member to post comments that appear to be written by another user, including those with administrative privileges.
Users are advised to update the FluentBoards WordPress plugin to version 2.0.15 or later.
