CVE-2026-89308 Details
Description
An unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in the ping.php endpoint, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system and achieve remote code execution.
A remote code execution vulnerability has been identified in Trexom's TrxTimeATTENDANCE application, specifically within the ping.php endpoint. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. The issue arises from inadequate validation and sanitization of input parameters used for executing system commands, enabling exploitation by sending specially crafted requests to the target system.
Users are advised to update to the latest version of TrxTimeATTENDANCE. If the ping.php endpoint must be exposed on the internet, access should be restricted through firewall rules to authorized personnel and necessary systems.
