Description
Forgejo before 16.0.4 allows use of restricted API tokens for unintended access to the "allow maintainer edit" feature.
A vulnerability exists in Forgejo versions prior to 16.0.4, allowing restricted API tokens to access the 'allow maintainer edit' feature unintentionally. This issue arises because the authorization process for editing pull requests via the API did not properly consider token-specific permissions, enabling unauthorized modifications.
Users can update to Forgejo version 16.0.4 or later to address this vulnerability.
