Description
GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.13 copies oversized ONVIF CreateUsers username or password values into fixed stack fields, allowing an authenticated administrator to crash the ONVIF worker.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the GeoVision GV-LPC2211 camera, running ONVIF version 1.13. This vulnerability arises from the camera's handling of oversized username or password values in the ONVIF CreateUsers function, which are improperly copied into fixed stack fields. An authenticated administrator could exploit this flaw to crash the ONVIF worker, leading to a denial-of-service condition.
