Description
GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.13 allows an administrator-controlled username containing shell metacharacters to be executed as arbitrary root commands when the stored username is later deleted.
A vulnerability exists in the GeoVision GV-LPC2211 camera running firmware version 1.13. The issue arises when an administrator-controlled username containing shell metacharacters is saved and later deleted. During the deletion process, the camera executes the stored username as arbitrary root commands, potentially leading to unauthorized access or control over the device.
