Description
CareCam CM2507 IP cameras do not require authentication for access to its network video streaming service. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the affected device could retrieve live camera video.
A vulnerability exists in CareCam CM2507 IP cameras, specifically in the HMT.CM2507 Firmware v251211.1507, due to the network video streaming service not requiring authentication. This flaw enables an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the camera to retrieve live video footage. Additionally, successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to access to sensitive device information, unauthorized services, execution of arbitrary code, modification of device operation, and recovery of stored credentials.
