Description
The Rox Appointment Booking WordPress plugin before 1.2.0 does not perform any capability or authorization check when saving its holiday schedule, allowing unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the dates the booking system treats as unavailable, which can block legitimate bookings or open dates the site owner intended to keep closed.
A vulnerability exists in the Rox Appointment Booking WordPress plugin in versions prior to 1.2.0. The plugin fails to implement capability or authorization checks when saving holiday schedules. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to modify dates designated as unavailable by the booking system. Such changes can disrupt legitimate bookings or alter the availability of dates that the site owner intended to keep closed.
Users are advised to update the Rox Appointment Booking WordPress plugin to version 1.2.0 or later.
