CVE-2026-87777 Details
Description
The Hostinger Reach WordPress plugin before 1.8.3 does not sanitize and escape a widget setting before outputting it in the editor preview, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute in the session of a higher-privileged user who opens the affected content in the editor.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Hostinger Reach WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 1.8.3. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape a widget setting before displaying it in the editor preview. This flaw allows users with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute in the session of a higher-privileged user who opens the affected content in the editor.
Users are advised to update the Hostinger Reach WordPress plugin to version 1.8.3 or later.
