Description
Uninitialized resource in WebGL in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's WebGL implementation prior to version 153.0.8010.36 has been identified, allowing remote attackers to leak cross-origin data by exploiting an uninitialized memory disclosure. This issue arises from a race condition in the WebGL string query APIs, where a GPU context loss can be timed to extract sensitive data from the renderer's memory heap and exfiltrate it via JavaScript.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
