Description
Use after free in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the V8 JavaScript engine of Google Chrome, specifically in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This vulnerability allows remote attackers, through social engineering, to execute arbitrary code within the sandboxed environment by using a specially crafted Chrome extension.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later to address this vulnerability.
