Description
Incorrect authorization in ServiceWorker in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's Service Worker component, present in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36, allowed remote attackers to bypass web origin policies. This was achieved by exploiting incorrect authorization, enabling a compromised renderer process to manipulate how origins were treated by the browser.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later to address this vulnerability.
