Description
Incorrect reference resolution in Extensions in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome Extensions prior to 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox by sending crafted network traffic. This issue arises from incorrect reference resolution, which can be exploited to manipulate file paths and inject data into other extensions' local storage.
