Description
Improper input validation in Passwords in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially leak sensitive information via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability exists in the Passwords component of Google Chrome, specifically in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This vulnerability stems from improper input validation, which allows remote attackers to potentially leak sensitive information through crafted network traffic. The issue arises when a shared password invitation contains an unvalidated URL, which can act as a tracking beacon, disclosing the recipient's browsing activity to the attacker.
