Description
Incorrect authorization in WebUI in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to bypass system access restrictions into a privileged page via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in Google Chrome's WebUI component, present in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36, allowed remote attackers to bypass system access restrictions and access privileged pages. This was achieved by exploiting incorrect authorization mechanisms, enabling unauthorized navigation to sensitive URLs via crafted HTML pages.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
