Description
Incorrect authorization in Loader in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome Loader component, in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36, allowing remote attackers to bypass system access restrictions through social engineering. This is achieved via a crafted HTML page that exploits incorrect authorization in the Loader.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later to address this vulnerability.
