Description
Injection in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome's DevTools component, specifically in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36. This issue allows a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox by using a crafted HTML page. The vulnerability arises from a validation bypass in the handling of Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) messages, which can be exploited to inject commands into a trusted browser session.
