Description
Incorrect reference resolution in Accessibility in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially spoof UI elements via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the Accessibility component of Google Chrome on Mac, in versions prior to 153.0.8010.36, allowed remote attackers to potentially spoof user interface elements by exploiting incorrect reference resolution. This was achieved through a crafted HTML page, which could manipulate how accessibility nodes were interpreted by the browser, particularly in relation to cross-origin iframes.
Users should update to Google Chrome version 153.0.8010.36 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
